We publish the airline rules, not just the products

Every carry-on recommendation has a size limit attached, so we publish the limits in real tables with the carrier's own page linked - and then link the bags that fit them. Almost nobody in this category does both halves.

Every product on this site carries a 'flaws but not dealbreakers' paragraph. It is a required field in our content model, which means a pick physically cannot ship without one.

How we choose

We do not quote prices we cannot verify

We have no live price feed for this site right now, and a stale number is worse than none. So every buy link says 'Check price on Amazon' and sends you to the live page. When we do have live prices, they will be date-stamped.

How we are funded

We do not run a testing lab, and we say so

Our picks come from the specs that decide a purchase, from published hands-on testing by named reviewers, and from our own travel where it genuinely applies. We tell you which is which rather than claiming a lab we do not have.
